Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month-March 2022
Neal Krokosky
Neal Krokosky graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law in 2009. After spending eight years in private practice, Neal started his in-house career as a Corporate Counsel, Litigation for Caesars Entertainment. He is currently a Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel Litigation for Tupperware Brands Corporation.
While employed at Caesars Entertainment, the opportunity to volunteer presented itself; it was without any hesitation that Neal decided to get involved. He has been volunteering with Legal Aid of Southern Nevada since February 2021. Neal has been a zealous volunteer and has worked on several appeal cases in front of the Supreme Court of Nevada.
Neal indicated that his initial motivation to do pro bono work was to argue in front of the Supreme Court of Nevada, as he wanted to have the opportunity to step out of his comfort zone and get the chance to practice appellate work. Even before the first opportunity arose, though, his motivation changed. Neal enjoys using his skills to help those in need; he describes volunteering work as a true win-win. He has the opportunity to assist those in need while keeping his skills sharp.
When we asked Neal to tell us about one memorable client, he said that each one of his clients has been memorable because they seem genuinely grateful and appreciative of his work. He has not had a client who has not thanked him for his assistance. A simple “thank you” makes a world of difference for him.
We are proud to have Neal on our side representing cases in our Pro Bono Project. Neal’s selfless and compassionate dedication to those in need makes him the great pro bono attorney he is. We are pleased to name him our Pro Bono Volunteer of the month.
