Volunteer of the Month – December 2023

Thomas Grover of Blackrock Legal 

Thomas is an attorney with Blackrock Legal, where he litigates trust, probate and other civil disputes. He is one of the most frequent litigators to appear each Friday in Clark County Probate Court. He also advises families through non-litigated probate administration. Thomas is a father to three beautiful children. He loves spending time with his family, playing poker, and watching the Utah Jazz, the Dodgers, and Nebraska football.

Thomas jumped at the opportunity to volunteer with the Pro Bono Project after receiving an email seeking volunteers. He has been one of our consistent volunteers for our Probate and Estate Planning Ask-A-Lawyer events. When asked why he does pro bono work, he expressed that doing pro bono work through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is a great way to demonstrate love for his Las Vegas community. Being able to provide assistance and guidance to participants about their Probate and Estate Planning issues has brought him personal satisfaction and is grateful to the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada for the opportunity to give back.
