Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month – November 2023

Monique S. Jammer

Monique attended the William S. Boyd School of law and practices litigation at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP.  Monique’s interest in pro bono started before law school when she had the opportunity to assist with a pro bono asylum matter.  During law school, she continued to work on pro bono cases.  She feels very fortunate to now work for a law firm that values pro bono work.  Brownstein Hyatt consistently makes pro bono an integral part of its culture and identity.

Monique has been one of our forceful advocates volunteering on a weekly basis in our Landlord-Tenant Ask-A-Lawyer events.  Her extraordinary commitment has given her the opportunity to assist numerous participants with their landlord-tenant issues, including evictions.  She shared that volunteering for this program has given her the opportunity to feel that she is doing something positive for our community.

Because of her continued dedication to pro bono, Monique is our November Volunteer of the Month.  We are very grateful to work with Monique in providing access to justice for those who cannot afford it.
