An 11-year old girl was removed from her home and came into the custody of DFS along with her older sibling, who has a separate case. The family came to the attention of the Department due to allegations of inadequate supervision and safety threats . The mother struggles with addiction and is unable to care for minor. At this time, this minor girl is in need of an attorney to represent her legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place.
