A 13-year-old boy was removed by DFS due to his parents’ inadequate supervision and drug use. The parents’ right were terminated in November 2022. However, the mother appealed the decision to terminate her parental rights.  As of today, this minor client wants his mother’s rights reinstated. His siblings have different wishes and are represented by other attorneys. At this time, this young boy needs an attorney to represent his legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, and visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place. There are five siblings on this case who are represented by a separate attorney. Next Hearing(s): Review Hearing on 7/31/2024 at 2:00 pm and Permanency Planning Hearing on 1/29/2025 at 2:00 pm in Courtroom 13.
