A sibling group of three-children, 9-year old girl, 2-year old boy and 8-month old infant boy were removed by DFS due to ongoing domestic violence instigated by the father against the mother. There have been multiple calls to law enforcement and the Department with regards to father’s violent outbursts toward mother in the presence of the children. DFS has intervened, and once the case resolves, the mother allows the father back into the home and the cycle continues. The children are placed with a maternal aunt at the moment. At this time, these children are in need of an attorney to represent their legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place.
