Summer Squires

Summer Squires, a partner at Cohen Fic & Squires Family Law, is an outstanding pro bono attorney whose dedication has made a profound impact in our community. Since taking her first pro bono case in 2024, Summer has provided legal services to numerous clients across several of our pro bono initiatives. In dependency and guardianship matters, she represents vulnerable children and guides them to safe and loving homes. In family law cases, she handles complex divorce and custody issues, providing an imperative voice to those in tenuous personal situations. As a dedicated volunteer with our Ask-A-Lawyer Program, she provides crucial legal advice to domestic violence victims. Summer states, “I often find that after speaking with someone through the Ask-A-Lawyer Program, they will thank me so sincerely for what may feel like very simple advice. Those conversations remind me of why we do this type of work.” Summer’s pro bono work has undoubtedly changed lives.
