A sibling group of three brothers, aged 3-years, 2-years and 1-year old, came into CCFS custody due to reports of physical risk. The subject minors are regularly exposed to domestic violence between the parents. CCFS was alerted to the situation after LVMPD responded to a domestic violence episode where the mother wounded the paternal caregiver with a deadly weapon. The subject minors lack the capability to identify present danger; moreover, neither the mother nor the father take protective measures for the children when these incidents occur. At this time, these young children are in need of an attorney to represent them. The next hearing is an Adjudicatory Hearing Plea on October 8th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 12.
