A 2-month-old is in custody of Clark County Family Services (CCFS) due to persistent parental drug abuse and neglectful conditions. The child’s mother displays consistent patterns of drug dependency, which initially resulted in the child being substance-exposed upon delivery. The mother continually fails to participate in rehabilitative services. Both the mother and father lack the resources necessary to provide the child with a suitable home environment.  At this time, this infant needs an attorney to represent his wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, and visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place. The next hearing is a Disposition Hearing on October 8th, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Courtroom 10.
