A sibling group consisting of children aged 7, 5 and 3-years old was brought into the custody of Clark County Family Services due to concerns of neglect. The three children were found abandoned, with no access to food or means of contact, while the parents traveled out-of-state for an extended period of time. The primary caregiver, the father, frequently vacillates between periods of drug usage and apparent sobriety. He lacks the support and resources to properly care for his children and regularly relies on family members to assume responsibility of his children. At this time, this vulnerable sibling group needs an attorney to represent their legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. The next hearing is on December 17th, 2024, and will take place in Courtroom 10.
