DFS removed a 6-year-old girl and a 4-year old girl—along with their older brother, who has a separate case—due to lack of protective capacity. The parents failed to protect the children from sexual abuse perpetrated by the grandmother and her boyfriend, even though the parents knew that the grandmother was a registered sex offender. At this time, these girls need an attorney to represent them. Next Hearing(s): TBD.
