DFS removed a 9-year-old boy—along with his two younger sisters, who have a separate case—due to lack of protective capacity. The parents failed to protect the children from sexual abuse perpetrated by the grandmother and her boyfriend, even though the parents knew that the grandmother was a registered sex offender.
