Two sisters, ages 7 and 6, are now in the custody of CCFS due to inappropriate care. The sisters came into the care of their maternal grandmother after their maternal great-grandmother passed away. However, the grandmother has a history of drug use and a prior agency substantiation for inadequate supervision. The mother lives in California and also has history of drug and alcohol use. Their father is not involved with the girls’ upbringing. At this time, these two young girls need an attorney to represent them. Next Hearing(s): Plea/Disposition Hearing on 7/30/2024 at 1:30pm in Courtroom 11.
