A-newborn baby boy was removed by DFS due to parent’s having an on-going case as to their other four minor children due to  substance abuse exposure, medical neglect, and educational neglect.  The Department reported that parents are not working on their case plan, the father still has the 157 presumption to overcome, both parents have failed to continue with therapies and services aligned for the safety return of their other children.  Baby boy is placed in a foster home at this time.  As such, this newborn boy is in need of an attorney to represent his legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next Hearing(s): Disposition Hearing on 06/13/2023 at 10:00 am in Courtroom 10.
