2-year old twin siblings came into DFS custody due to reports of parental drug use, untreated mental health issues and domestic violence. The parents drug use compromise their ability to care for the children and provide them with basic care. It has been reported that when incidents of domestic violence have occurred, the parents were under the influence. Additionally, the mother experiences symptoms of mental health conditions, which are inadequately treated and she has not sought assistance.  The parents also lack safe and stable housing to provide for the basic needs of the children.  All these circumstances place the minor children in an unsafe environment. At this time, these infant twins are in need of an attorney to represent their legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next Hearing(s): Plea Hearing on 06/06/2023 at 9:45 am in Courtroom 10.
