A sibling group of three girls ages 16-year old, 14-year old and a newborn baby came into DFS custody after the father to one of the girl’s engaged in a drug deal with the three minor girls in the car.  Also, in the car was boy-sibling, who is not a subject of this petition.  During the transaction, the minor boy was shot resulting in a fracture to his leg.  The mother and father coached minors what to say to authorities in order to protect the father from getting in trouble for dealing drugs.  The mother has engaged in domestic violence acts against two of the fathers of the children.  She was convicted for one of the incidents.  She also lacks the capacity to protect the minor and continues exposing them to situations which create impending dangers.  These minor girls are in need of an attorney to represent their legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next Hearing(s): Disposition/Plea Hearing on 06/06/2023 at 9:30 am in Courtroom 10.
