Two siblings, 13-year old girl and 11-year old boy came into DFS custody due to physical risk.  The parents were involved in a domestic violence incident where the mother attacked the father with a butcher knife.  The parents have a history of domestic violence against each other, including father striking mother.  The father was arrested for violating a TPO from District Court.  Both parents were incarcerated and unable to discharge their responsibilities to and for the children.  At this time, these two siblings are in need of an attorney to represent their wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next Hearing(s): Disposition Hearing on 06/06/2023 at 10:00 am in Courtroom 10.
