A 1-year-old girl came into DFS custody after paramedics responded to a call that she was exhibiting symptoms of fentanyl exposure. It was later determined that the child may have ingested fentanyl or a similar strong opioid and was subsequently hospitalized. There is also history of domestic violence between the parents that has resulted in putting the minor in danger. At this time, minor is in need of an attorney to represent her legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, and visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next Hearing(s) Review Hearing on 09/13/2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Courtroom 9.
