A 1-year old girl was removed by DFS after a report that the father attacked one of the older siblings, causing injury. The parents have a history of alcohol abuse and using illegal prescription drugs. There are also several incidents of domestic violence against mother and older siblings. The mother lacks the capacity to protect her infant daughter from her father’s abuse and continues to stay with him despite of the violence.  At this time, this infant girl is in need of an attorney to represent her wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next Hearing(s): Status Check (In-Home Safety Home Progress) on 06/15/2023 at 2:30 pm in Courtroom 12.
