An infant boy came into DFS custody due to allegations of threat of harm, improper supervision, and lack of resources. The mother has been residing with her mother because she is homeless and lacking resources. The mother and the grandmother have a contentious relationship, which has caused several incidents of violence between the two. During the last incident, the mother was holding the baby boy while having a physical altercation with grandmother. She was arrested and there were no other responsible adults to care for minor. The father does not have any contact with the boy nor provides any financial support. At this time, minor is in need of an attorney to represent his legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place to protect her from any harm.
