Newborn Baby Boy was removed by DFS at time of birth due to indications of neglect, mother’s mental health, and lack of resources.  The mother is a minor with an open DFS case herself.  She has a past history of running away, sex trafficking, and being believed to reside with perpetrator.  The mother is considered homeless and without the necessary resources to provide the basic needs of the minor.   A natural father has not been identified.  As of now, this newborn baby boy is in need of an attorney to represent his wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  The next hearing(s):  Plea Hearing on 03/22/2023 at 9:30 am in Courtroom 8.
