A woman is in need of attorney representation after her husband has filed for divorce. They share two children and he is also requesting sole custody of their 13-year-old that resides with him and joint custody of their 14-year-old. The client would like to keep the house she currently lives in, their van, and split his 401k and money in his savings/checking account. She will continue paying their mortgage, and any credit card debt that is in her name. She requests that he keep any credit card debt in his name and split one of their child’s student loan payment equally.
