2-year old boy was removed by DFS due to environmental neglect and parental drug use. The parents were found squatting in a home that had no working utilities and living conditions were unbearable.  There were safety hazards concerns including medication bottles and drug paraphernalia accessible to minor.  A gun was also found in the property, for which, the father was arrested for having.  The parents have an extensive history of illegal substances; they also lack stable housing and income to provide for the basic needs of the child.  At this time, minor is in need of an attorney to represent his wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place.  Next hearing(s): Review Hearing on 07/03/2023 at 1:30 pm in Courtroom 10.
