A group of siblings, ages 13, 12, and 10, came into DFS custody after the father left them home alone for several days. The father has been involved in incidents of domestic violence with his live-in girlfriend in presence of the children putting their welfare at risk of harm. He was then arrested and did not make arrangements for the children. Their mother has not met her case plan goals related to her failure to protect the children from sexual abuse or made the behavior changes necessary for the children to be safe in her care. Both parents have been convicted of violations which prohibit the minors to be released to them. At this time, the children are in need of an attorney to represent their wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place.
