Newborn baby boy was removed by DFS after hospital made a report. The mother and her boyfriend, who is the infant’s father, have an open case with CPS due to allegations of physical abuse towards the mother’s oldest child caused by the boyfriend.  The mother has knowledge of the ongoing abuse and has not done anything to prevent or stop it from occurring. The boyfriend was charged with Child Abuse.  Even after the allegations and ongoing criminal case,  the mother continues to provide conflicting stories as to the abuse and has not taken any steps to protect the minor children from her boyfriend. This infant is in need of an attorney to represent his wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place.
