Minor children ages 8, 7, and 2 year old came into DFS custody due to neglect. The mother neglected the children by failing to provide them with proper care, supervision, shelter or other care necessary for their well-being. The mother left the children in the care of their maternal grandparents without making any proper legal arrangements for their care. Mother primarily resides in California with her boyfriend. Both parents have history of drug use, which compromises their ability to care for the children. At this time, the children are in need of an attorney to represent their wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place. Next hearing(s): Calendar Call 01/17/2023 at 9:30 a.m., Adjudicatory Trial on 01/27/2023 at 9:30 a.m., and Review Hearing on 03/07/2023 at 2:15 p.m., in Courtroom 11.
