Manuel’s parents reportedly orally agreed to buy him a house because he had bad credit, but he agreed to make all the payments and the house would eventually be transferred to him. His dad passed away and his mother signed a quitclaim deed giving the home to him, but the notary was not an authorized notary and cannot be located. Now, his mom is 97 years old and his siblings are allegedly trying to convince her to take the home back. She filed a quiet title action and he filed an answer but needs to amend it to assert any applicable counterclaims. He needs an attorney to assist him with this matter.
