A mother is seeking assistance in a complaint for custody she filed against her child’s father. The child’s father is a truck driver with limited availability and last saw the child on October 25, 2021. The parties are not married, there is no domestic violence, and no CPS issues. The mother requested sole legal custody and primary physical custody with open visitation or bi-weekly visitations for the father. The father has been paying $400 in child support. The father is represented by counsel. On December 6, 2021, the parties entered into a partial parenting agreement that gives the parents joint legal custody and primary physical custody to the mother, subject to the father’s work schedule. They also agreed to a holiday schedule but did not agree on how to share non-holiday time. As a result, this mother needs representation to ensure her desires are heard as the time-share plan is established. Next Hearing(s): Status Check on 3/7/2022 at 9 am.
