A 5-year-old girl was brought into DFS care on or about October 5, 2021 because of allegations of bruises/cuts and physical risk to her by her father. One or both of the parents cannot control their behavior and lack parenting knowledge, skills, and the motivation to care for the little girl. The child may also have an unaddressed developmental delay. Both parents avoid parenting and basic care as they will leave the child in the care of others. The mother leaves little girl in the care of others while she uses drugs. As a result, she is in need of an attorney to represent her legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. Next Hearing(s): Permanency Planning Hearing on 10/05/2022 at 2:00 p.m.
