A 2-year-old girl and her older brother were removed from the home on September 23, 2019 due to domestic violence between the father and mother and because her brother demonstrated significant developmental delays resulting from neglect. The two children are in separate foster homes and have different wishes for future placement. Both foster homes are adoptive resources. The children have court ordered sibling contact that goes well. Fosters work well together on setting these visits up. Her mother is currently very unstable and does not demonstrate an understanding of her son’s needs. She is in need of an attorney to represent her legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, and visitation and ensure appropriate services are in place. Next Hearing(s): Status Check on 11/09/2021 at 10:30 a.m., and Permanency Planning Hearing on 03/08/2022 at 2:30 p.m., in courtroom 12.
