After the maternal grandmother reportedly left the children to go to the casino and gamble in November 2020, a sibling group of four children, ages 14.5, 13, 12, and 4, were removed from her care. She was arrest for child endangerment and the children were placed in a Higher Level of Care foster home and remain there. She was previously the legal guardian of the three oldest children until the guardianship was terminated in July 2019 because she failed to complete the necessary reports and paperwork and she did not respond to the Order to Show Cause. Their natural mother has a significant drug problem and four of the natural fathers are unknown and one is believed to be deceased. The children need an attorney to represent their legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, and visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place as they work towards reunification with their maternal grandmother.
