Appellants filed a medical malpractice action against respondents alleging that their mother, died as a result of negligent treatment she received from respondents. The district court granted respondents’ motion to dismiss, determining that dismissal was required as appellants failed to include the requisite affidavit pursuant to NRS 41A.071. In their informal opening brief, appellants argue that at least some of their claims were not based upon medical negligence and thus,
should not have been dismissed for failure to include an affidavit.
