CPS removed toddler client after his mother was arrested over concerns of child abuse. At the time of law enforcement involvement, the mother was very intoxicated and brandishing a loaded firearm. The only report of direct physical abuse was made by mother’s girlfriend, who reported that the mother dropped minor when she went to get the gun. The toddler is placed with the maternal grandparents, and the mother appears to be motivated to work on her issues.  Next hearing is a Plea Hearing on 1/25/2021 at 10:00 am in Courtroom 6.
