Clients is age 70. She is retired and receiving social security income. She lives in Pahrump, NV. Client is seeking advice or representation regarding the Bylaws and Standing Rules of her R.V. park. Client states herself and other senior citizens, who reside at the R.V. park are having issues with the Board of Directors. According to client, the Board of Directors are misinterpreting the Bylaws and Standing Rules of the R.V. park making it a disadvantage to the residents. She states that the Board of Directors are illegally holding meetings and passing changes without sending prior notices to the residents to attend. When the issue is addressed to the Board of Directors. The residents are told that they are wrong and that the meetings are considered gatherings. They are a park but file under 501(c)7 – not 501(c)3. They are not an HOA and do not have CC&Rs. They believe they are are governed under NRS Section 81 and 82 but not NRS 116. She need guidance and advice.
