Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 1-month-old baby boy is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of parental substance abuse and lack of resources. The mother’s continued drug use throughout the pregnancy resulted in this child being born substance-exposed. The father was recently arrested on drug-related charges. Prior to the delivery of this child, the mother and father were both residing inside their vehicle. This vulnerable newborn infant requires an attorney to advocate on his behalf in ongoing juvenile dependency proceedings. The next hearing is on September 9th, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 9.
