Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 13-year-old boy and his two younger step-brothers, ages 11 and 8, are under the custody of Clark County Family Services due to parental incarceration. The mother was arrested after a robbery attempt and left the children under the care of her sister, the children’s maternal aunt. Investigators shortly discovered the aunt was an unsuitable caregiver due to unstable housing and substance abuse. Both of the fathers have a history of criminal charges and have failed to maintain any contact with their respective children. The next hearing is on September 9th, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 7.
