Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 9-month-old baby girl is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to ailing parental mental health and lack of resources. The mother suffers from several untreated mental health conditions which lead to erratic episodes resulting in unsafe conditions. Recently, the mother fled from her family home and checked into a hotel; upon checkout time, the mother refused to vacate the room and presented with bizarre behavior. The mother is now being held at a behavioral facility. This young baby girl requires an attorney to advocate for her legal rights in ongoing juvenile dependency proceedings– the next hearing is on September 16th, 2026, at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 10.
