Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 3-year-old boy is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of domestic violence between caregivers. The father commits acts of physical violence against the mother, resulting in visible injuries. In the past, the mother had been abused to the extent of needing stitches. In addition to this violent aggression, the father also makes specific threats of harm to the child, stating that he wants the child to suffer and contemplates selling the child’s organs for money. The next hearing is to be determined and will take place in Courtroom 7.
