Abuse/Neglect Cases

A newborn baby girl is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to drug exposure. The mother of this child is a habitual drug user, testing positive for illicit substances both during and after the pregnancy. Both the mother and father have an extensive history of criminal activity– the father is currently incarcerated for unrelated criminal charges. This vulnerable baby girl requires an attorney to advocate on her behalf in ongoing juvenile dependency proceedings. The next hearing is to be determined and will take place in Courtroom 7.
