Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 1-month-old baby girl is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of parental substance abuse. The mother of this child is a known drug user– she tested positive for various substances at the time of the baby girl’s birth. As a result, this infant demonstrated symptoms of withdrawal shortly after delivery. This little girl needs an attorney to represent her legal wishes and rights as to permanency, placement, and visitation and to ensure appropriate services are in place. The next hearing is to be determined and will take place in Courtroom 7.
