Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 10-month-old baby boy is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of ailing parental mental health, domestic violence, and parental incarceration. The mother has been unmedicated for a mental health condition, resulting in erratic and unsafe behaviors. During one incident, the mother physically assaulted another adult relative in the household, resulting in her subsequent arrest. Now, this vulnerable baby boy does not have an adequate caregiver to tend to his physical or emotional needs. The next hearing is on September 15th, 2026, at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 7.
