Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 7-year-old boy and his 6-year-old younger sister are both under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of domestic violence occurring in the household. Reports indicate that the mother was allegedly held in the home against her will by the father for up to a year and a half with the children. The father committed physical attacks against the mother, leaving observable injuries. These two young children were witnesses to many of the violent assaults and recall seeing their mother severely bruised. The mother is a known substance abuser and is now in a drug treatment program. The next hearing is on September 8th, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 10.
