Abuse/Neglect Cases

A group of step-sisters, ages 12, 11, 9, and 5 years old, are all under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of parental substance abuse. The mother was found in a parked car at her residence administering illicit substances while the children were in her care. During this incident, the children were in the driveway and witnessed the drug use take place. The mother also lacks employment and stable housing. The fathers of these children both have domestic violence charges and are unsuitable caregivers. The next hearing is on September 9th, 2026, at 3 p.m. in Courtroom 7.
