Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 4-year-old girl and her 3-year-old little sister are both under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of domestic violence and improper supervision. The mother and father were taken into police custody following a domestic incident during which a firearm was brandished.  In addition to the children being present at the time of the initial altercation, while LVMPD was executing a search warrant regarding the firearm, the children were observed sleeping on stairs outside the residence unsupervised.  These children are in need of an attorney to represent their legal wishes in ongoing juvenile dependency proceedings. The next hearing is on December 15th, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 7.
