Abuse/Neglect Cases

A 1-year-old boy is under the care of Clark County Family Services due to reports of parental substance abuse, parental incarceration, and lack of resources. The mother is a known drug abuser, often leaving her child unsupervised in the residence to engage in substance use. Recently, the mother was arrested and incarcerated for several unresolved warrants, leaving her child without a caregiver. The father, who is separated, does not have the housing or financial support to provide for this vulnerable infant. The next hearing is on December 8th, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 7.
