Case Number: 2017-005942

Gaming Control Board Hearing:  Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm (client requested a continuance)
Client needs help with a gaming card matter. Client was working at a gaming establishment but lost her job due to the denial of her gaming card. The company is willing to rehire her if she can get her gaming card. Her gaming card was denied due to past criminal offenses. In 2013 she was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon but she plead to a lesser domestic violence misdemeanor. She was also charged with drug possession. She completed all sentence requirements and her cases are now closed. She states that she and her boyfriend at the time were taking pills and she pulled out a knife but did not use it. Client would like an attorney’s representation at her gaming card objection hearing. We advised client we will look for an attorney to provide counsel and advice but there is no guarantee the attorney will represent her at the hearing; that decision is left to the attorney’s professional judgment.
