This is a conflict case and requires a pro bono attorney. These children came into DFS care on October 23, 2019 due to failure to supervise and use of controlled substances by natural mother and neglect by the natural fathers. Evidence was presented that these boys sisters were all physically or sexually victimized by the two oldest brothers. The natural fathers’ have neglected the minor children by not maintaining consistent contact or support. Natural mother has a history of substance abuse and prior incidents of environmental neglect (filthy home) and failure to provide for the children (who reportedly were begging for food from neighbors). She tested positive for high levels of methamphetamine in her urine and hair. The oldest brother is not party to this case but the second oldest and youngest brother are. The sisters are being represented by a separate attorney as is the oldest brother. These two children are in need of representation. The Next Hearing is a Review Hearing on 4/22/20 at 10:45 am in Courtroom 11.
