Newborn baby boy came into DFS care on November 27, 2019, due to mother’s emotional stability seriously impairing her ability to care for her newborn baby boy. The mother’s train of thought is disorganized. She was described as being unable to maintain a train of thought as she would converse and then change the direction of the conversation repeatedly. She also has paranoid thoughts and delusions. Further, mother is homeless and has a history of testing positive for Amphetamines, but her frequency and extent is unknown. Mother stated that she came to Las Vegas from Orange County, California, where her father’s girlfriend stole her children from her through the CPS agency. She refused to provide the name of the father or any of her relatives other than her father and his girlfriend in California. The Next Hearing is a Review Hearing on 5/12/2020 at 2:15 pm in Courtroom 11.
