These children, age 6 and 4 years, came into care with a sibling group and was placed with an attorney. Since initially coming into care the children’s wishes have changed and are no longer in alignment with each other’s wishes. These children are the two youngest children and they are placed together. There is an adoptive resource that has been identified but, they are only wanting to adopt these two children and not the entire sibling group. These children are in need of an attorney to represent their wishes and legal rights to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. There is a Status Check scheduled for May 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. and a Permanency Planning Hearing set for September 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., Both in Courtroom 22.
