This child, age 14 years, came into care with a sibling group and was placed with an attorney. Since initially coming into care the children’s wishes have changed and are no longer in alignment with each other’s wishes. This child is the oldest of the sibling group. She is currently placed at St. Judes. This child has a specific issues relating to mental health that need to be closely monitored and cared for. She was in a foster care situation she liked however, the foster parents lost the ability to foster and she was removed, causing great stress to this child. This child feels that his siblings have a better chance of being adopted if she is not attached. She is a good kid who is having a very hard time dealing with the life she has been given. This child is in need of an attorney to represent her wishes and legal rights to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. There is a Status Check scheduled for May 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. and a Permanency Planning Hearing set for September 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., Both in Courtroom 22.
